Oak Photo Stand – Matsuda Sohi

The minimal design of this oak photo stand consists of two panes of glass that hold a photograph while seamlessly slotting into the wooden base. It was created by designer Matsuda Sohi, whose background as a furniture maker and in metalworking led him to establish Roam, a furniture and interior brand in Kagoshima Prefecture.

The oak photo stand is representative of Matsuda Sohi’s fluid creative process that mixes contrasting materials and combines the wide range of skills that he has developed through his career.
