Vegetable Brush

This brush was handmade in Gifu Prefecture using natural wood and pig hair. As exemplified by its playful radish-shaped design, the brush is designed to be used for washing root vegetables such as carrots, radishes and potatoes. The specially selected pig hair bristles, which are planted in a handle of natural wood, are hard enough to remove dirt from the vegetables but gentle enough to not damage their precious skin, rich in nutrition and micro biotics.

Chūbu

The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
