This wazarashi cloth roll is designed to enrich your kitchen. Wazarashi is a type of bleached cotton fabric that goes through a boiling process for several days in order to remove impurities. Cloths made of wazarashi are highly moisture absorbent and soft. They can be used in a variety of ways in and around the kitchen, such as for wiping to wrapping, and even for straining and steaming. Just like paper rolls, the cloth can be easily torn at its perforations, allowing it be used one sheet at a time. Wazarashi sheets however can be reused many times by simply washing them, making them not only convenient but also economically friendly. The aesthetic design, versatility and sustainable quality earned this product the prestigious Good Design Best 100 Award in 2020.

When used for straining or steaming, the cloth needs to be boiled first to remove any dirt that might have accumulated on it.
