The company is based in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, which is particularly known for its durable lacquerware; Wajima nuri. Wajima Kirimoto is currently led by seventh generation Kirimoto Taiichi and the company manufactures high quality products including bowls and cups, furniture, and lifestyle products for the home.
