This small aluminium jelly mould is produced in Higashi-Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, by Kyoei Kinzoku, a company founded in 1935. The mould is prepared using machinery dating back to the 1920s, lending it a distinct Shōwa period (1926–1989) charm. Made from aluminium, the mould cools quickly, aiding the setting process. It is ideally sized for small desserts and can also serve as a vessel for condiments or as a decorative piece for storing accessories.
Wipe moisture after washing.
Take caution as handles can get hot and use of mittens is recommended.
Do not use steel wool or cleaning products with abrasion.
Avoid acidic and alkaline cleaning products such as vinegar and baking soda.
