掛け時計 駅クロック 五十嵐威暢
This minimalist design clock was produced by specialist timepiece maker Lemnos in collaboration with designer Igarashi Takenobu. Igarashi is the designer behind the ‘Big Clock of Stars’ which hangs on the outer wall at Sapporo’s central station in Hokkaido. This wall clock, named Eki (station), makes use of the same design techniques as the station clock, with originally designed numbers and hands that are easily visible from a distance. The outer clock frame is made of lathed aluminium while the face is made of clear glass.

The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
