Ippodo Unro Sencha
A light and crisp sencha, a green tea produced by steaming, rolling, and drying tea leaves, then infusing the whole leaves in hot water. This variety has a slight sweetness balanced by gentle bitterness and astringency. Grown in hilly areas with stark temperature differences, it develops a depth of flavour and a refreshing fragrance.
Hakusan Porcelain Teacups with Lids
These porcelain teacups are produced in the small town of Hasami in Nagasaki Prefecture, home to Hasami ware, a style of porcelain with a continuous history of over 400 years. Teacups with lids are designed for formal occasions and are ideal for serving tea to guests.
Ippodo Unro Sencha
The fragrance of the tea will gradually weaken over time and with exposure to air, so it is best consumed when fresh.
Recommended brewing method is 2 tablespoons of tea to 210 ml of hot water at 100°C, and brew for 30 seconds.
