Produced in Tajimi City in the southeastern Tōno region of Gifu Prefecture, Kihon no Utsuwa is a brand that actively engages in sustainable manufacturing to avoid further depleting local resources. Kihon no Utsuwa uses a blend of different types of clay and soil for its products, using a blending technique developed in the Tōno region.
A combination of sustainable craftsmanship and contemporary design this bowl is a perfect vessel for rice. Its comfortable size and gentle curves make it easy to hold, while its subtle colours enhance its contents.
