This porcelain chopstick rest is made in Nagasaki Prefecture in the small town of Hasami, known for its tradition, over 400 years in age, of producing high-quality porcelain. The rest’s design resembles the small round pebbles found around riverbanks, that have been polished smooth by water and sand. The natural contours of this thoughtful design allow cutlery to be rested in a variety of angles, to give a subtly different visual effect with every use.
Handwashing recommended.
Size: approx. L5.5 cm x W4.5 cm x H1.5 cm
