This porcelain chopstick rest is made in Nagasaki Prefecture in the small town of Hasami, known for its tradition, over 400 years in age, of producing high-quality porcelain. Designed in 1973, it’s shape which resembles a bird with outstretched wings is intended to hold not only cutlery but greeting cards as well, making it a practical item for the home.
Handwashing recommended.
