This set includes a 300ml katakuchi (sake pitcher) and two 60ml guinomi (sake cups), each handcrafted from tin by NOUSAKU artisans. Tin has long been valued for storing food and drink, as it preserves freshness. When used for sake, it is said to reduce impurities and enhance flavour. Its high thermal conductivity allows the vessels to chill quickly in a refrigerator, while remaining resistant to oxidation and discoloration.
The name Madoka, meaning circle, evokes harmony and tranquility, suggesting a relaxed drinking experience. The impression is reinforced by the vessels’ smooth, elegant curves. In addition to everyday use, the set also makes a thoughtful gift for weddings or anniversaries.
Pitcher: 7.8 × 11.5 × 9.1 cm

Chūbu
The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
