Cedar, or sugi in Japanese, is a popular material used in the creation of sake cups and barrels, lending the liquid its warm, woody scent. These particular cups are produced from a type of cedar grown in Niigata Prefecture known scientifically as ‘hidden Japanese treasure’. Each cup is designed to offer the drinker a smooth, stable feel in the hand, and to enliven the senses with scents of the Japanese woodland. Each individual cup is handmade and showcases the natural grain of the wood, meaning no two are completely identical.

Handwash only.

Do not microwave.

Keep away from fire.

Dry thoroughly before storing, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity.

Material: Cedar

Finish coating: Liquid glass coating

Size: Φ65×H50~52(mm)

Because each item is handmade, there may be slight differences in shape and size.
