While most dustpans today are made of synthetic materials such as plastic, this dustpan from Osaka is individually handmade by small manufacturers using tin. Tin is a soft and malleable material that is not only lightweight but also particularly resistant to corrosion. There can be a special pleasure tidying around the house with this item, free from the noise of a vacuum cleaner. These tin dustpans should last a great deal longer than ones made of plastic.
Doesn’t require special care.

The Kantō region is densely populated and home to a third of the country's population. It is centred around the nation's vibrant capital – Tokyo, formerly known as Edo, which has been the cultural, economic and political heart of Japan for centuries. Outside this megacity, there are mountains, onsen and ski resorts, magnificent temple complexes and excellent surfing opportunities within easy reach.
