二段式工具箱
A versatile steel toolbox with an award-winning design, made in Osaka.
Produced in Osaka since 1969, these toolboxes from Toyo Steel are the standard for Japanese toolboxes. Pressed from a single sheet of steel using metal moulds, each box is seamless and hardwearing. Devoid of sharp edges, their sleek design guarantees both and comfort safety, while the camber-top cover of the boxes not only adds an elegant touch but also allows for increased capacity compared to flat tops. This all around thoughtful design earned these toolboxes the prestigious Good Design Long Life Design award in 2009, further highlighting their lasting qualities. Though initially created for industrial professionals, the boxes are also ideal for DIY enthusiasts, artists and hobbyists and also fit well into contemporary lifestyles as storage or lunch boxes.

The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
