This umeshu (plum liqueur) is made from fully ripened Nankō plums and locally sourced peach paste from Wakayama Prefecture without additives. Renowned for their succulence and vibrant sweetness, Nankō plums contribute to the umeshu’s rich aromatic flavours. The liqueur is also blended with sake that has matured over two years to give depth and to complement the flavour of the fruit.
The textured pink label features an illustration of a crest which combines a crane, representing longevity, and a blooming plum flower, symbolising resilience. This design reflects the name of the umeshu, which blends tsuru (crane) and ume (plum).
Recommended straight or over ice, to savour the aroma and taste of the Nankō plums.
