A hand-painted soba choko cup with a chrysanthemum motif.
This soba choko cup has a hand-painted chrysanthemum motif and fine linear decoration. Originally used for serving soba dipping sauce, it is equally suitable for drinks, desserts and small appetisers. Its stackable form allows for easy storage.
Keizangama is particularly known for its sobachoko collection. Available in more than 100 designs, these versatile vessels have remained popular since their introduction in 1984.
Established in 1957 near Arita in Saga Prefecture, Keizangama is a family-run porcelain workshop specializing in hand-painted tableware. Each design is carefully transferred and traced by hand, then glazed and fired before the application of overglaze colours.
