ポチ袋 ひとふでへび
A pochibukurō (small envelope for gifting money) featuring a pattern of snakes drawn with one single continuous stroke, celebrating the zodiac animal for 2025.
This pochibukurō (small envelope for gifting money) features a design inspired by the zodiac animal of 2025—the snake and is used to hold otoshidama (money given to children by older generations during the New Year holidays).
This pattern consists of a curious snake looking upwards in a single continuous stroke, symbolizing a wish for uninterrupted good fortune. Looking closely, it resembles the kanji character for the snake zodiac animal.
The Kantō region is densely populated and home to a third of the country's population. It is centred around the nation's vibrant capital – Tokyo, formerly known as Edo, which has been the cultural, economic and political heart of Japan for centuries. Outside this megacity, there are mountains, onsen and ski resorts, magnificent temple complexes and excellent surfing opportunities within easy reach.
