A practical everyday rice bowl crafted in the Koishiwara ware technique.
A rice bowl is an everyday essential in Japanese dining, used from breakfast through to dinner. Rice holds a special significance for Kaneha Kiln, whose farmer-potter way of life combines rice cultivation and pottery making throughout the year. Available in two sizes, each bowl presents a historic Koishiwara ware decoration. The small bowl features tobikanna, created by applying a curved blade to a rotating surface, while the large bowl is decorated with hakeme, a technique that produces flowing brush-marked lines.
Microwave and dishwasher safe.
