‘This vial of natural distilled water is carefully extracted through steam distillation from the bark of the aromatic camphor tree, kusunoki. Kusunoki bark has long been a main ingredient of Japanese incense and is said to have been used as a medicinal herb and spice since the Nara period (710-794 CE). The process of steam distillation involves no added alcohol or chemicals, ensuring the product’s purity. Camphor is known for its rather heavy scent, which energizes people during times of decreased motivation.
