These chopsticks are crafted in Fukui Prefecture’s Obama City, a centre for the production of lacquered chopsticks. Made from natural wood, these chopsticks undergo subtle changes that enhance their character the more they are used.
The various types of wood used to make these chopsticks offers distinct qualities in terms of hardness, weight, feel, and wood grain. Every pair is crafted from wood that meets rigorous requirements.
