Kyoya

Located in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, Kyoya is a somemonoya (dyehouse) with a 100-year history. It is one of a small number of dyehouses in Japan which is able to design, dye and tailor products in-house from the raw materials through to the finished item. Kyoya employs craftspeople who specialize in each particular stage of the creation process – from dyeing and sewing through to packaging – to ensure each product is lovingly and carefully made.
