A set of writing paper and envelopes featuring patterns from centuries-old treasures.
A set of ornate writing paper and envelopes to send well-wishes to your friends and loved ones, decorated with age-old auspicious motifs. The motifs on this set were used to decorate ancient treasures which are stored in the Shōsōin Repository (built around 756-759 CE). They consist of flowers, animals and mythical creatures considered to bring good luck such as mandarin ducks, phoenixes and kirin.
