事務用ハサミ
A pair of high-quality stainless steel scissors from Gifu Prefecture.
These scissors were expertly crafted from a single sheet of 2.5mm thick stainless steel in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. Produced since 1975, these scissors are extremely strong and durable with a design that remains unchanged and which pays great attention to the weight balance between blades and handles. The excellent long-lasting sharpness of the steel blades creates a smooth cutting experience, while the inside of the handles are covered with rubber to protect fingers and provide a comfortable touch. The scissors won the Good Design Long Life Design Award in 1990.

The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
