This inventive pencil sharpener can be used to prolong the life span of unusable pencil stubs that have become too small, by connecting them to form a longer pencil.
The tool has three sharpeners to assist in shaping two pencils so that they fit into one another. The first creates a recess in the rear of the short pencil, the second carves the wooden part of the protrusion on the tip of the longer pencil, and the third cleans up the carving so that the pencils can connect smoothly.
This ingenious design was awarded the prestigious Good Design Award in 2015 for its focus on promoting sustainability through the action of reusing pencil stubs that are otherwise useless.
Children should use this product under supervision of an adult. Store out of the reach of small children.
