A versatile plate that complements a variety of dishes and uses. Featuring the rhythmic tobikanna pattern, a hallmark of Koishiwara ware created by applying a curved blade to a rotating surface, this piece is complemented by the warm tones of an amber-glazed rim. Accents of green and brown glaze lend a contemporary touch to the design.
Yanase Honkamamoto is a kiln established during the Edo Period (1603–1868). Drawing on the time-honoured craftsmanship of Koishiwara ware from Fukuoka Prefecture, it creates contemporary ceramics featuring striking glazes and timeless designs that harmonize with modern living.
