キッチンブラシ
An expertly made kitchen brush from Gifu Prefecture with an ingenious design.
This general purpose kitchen brush is expertly made in Gifu Prefecture using hinoki (Japanese cypress) for the handle and densely planted natural pig and goat hair. The brushes are designed to solve the problem of removing hard-to-clean stains and dirt without damaging the surface of utensils such as finely coated Teflon pans. The darker bristles on one side of the brush are soft while the ones on the other are hard and meant to be used on tougher stains adhering to the edges and corners of pots and pans. The compact size and circular shape of the brush fits comfortably in the palm of the hand, easing the chore of washing dishes.
No special care required.
Size: Ø5 cm x H5.2-6.2 cm
The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
