This porcelain pepper shaker is made in Nagasaki Prefecture in the small town of Hasami, known for its 400-year tradition of producing high-quality porcelain. The pepper shaker’s design resembles the round pebbles and rocks that have been polished smooth by water and sand found around riverbanks.
Handle with care to avoid scratching the glaze.
