A lightweight yukihira saucepan with a hammered finish for efficient cooking, accompanied with a lid for controlled simmering and flavour development when cooking.
Each yukihira saucepan has a tsuchime (hammered) finish, crafted to enhance both performance and durability. The hammered finish increases the overall surface area, promoting efficient heat distribution, while the forging process strengthens the metal.
Lightweight and versatile, the saucepan is well suited for simmering soups and stews. The pouring spout allows for easy transfer of liquids and the interior measurement markings provide a convenient guide during cooking. The wooden handle remains comfortable to hold, stays cool during use and offers a secure grip even with wet hands.
Designed for use with yukihira saucepans, this well-fitting lid assists by retaining heat and moisture for effective simmering and flavour development. The lid can help prevent ingredients from spilling when the pan is gently moved during cooking, allowing cooking liquids to be distributed more evenly. It is also finished with a hanging hook for easy storage.
Suitable for both gas and induction hobs. Also available in Ø20 cm.
Not suitable for deep-frying.
Foods high in tannins may cause harmless discolouration of the pan. This does not affect food safety.
