Founded in Tokyo in 1899, Hirota Glass is one of the oldest glassmakers in Japan. During its long history, the company has made great advances in Japanese glass traditions such as the Edo kiriko style of cut glass, as well as developing brand new techniques and products. Now led by the fourth generation glassmaker Hirota Tatsuaki, the company continues to handcraft glassware from the finest materials.
