Cast Iron Kettle Yachigusa

A tetsubin, Japanese cast iron kettle, designed for boiling water.

£268 per item

The modern, induction compatible design of the Yachigusa tetsubin, cast iron kettle, is beautiful yet practical and complements a variety of kitchen styles. The kettle interior is not enameled which allows the boiling water to become mineralized with iron, making it softer and enriching it with a smooth and mellow taste.

Before first use, wash the interior of the kettle with cold water. Boil water on medium heat and discard to prepare the kettle for use. After each use, rinse with water and dry thoroughly to avoid rusting. It is recommended to use medium heat and to avoid heating an empty kettle.

Compatible with gas, electric and induction hobs.
